To express your support for patient safety, contact our leaders and lawmakers using the following information. Let them know that you:
Believe that to improve health access and lower premiums, legislators should reform the insurance industry. We don’t want insurance companies to have even more control of our health care system!
Believe that people injured by medical malpractice should be able to take legal action to fairly address their injuries as allowed by the U.S. Constitution. Juries should decide what’s fair – not insurance companies.
Believe that children and senior citizens – not just wage-earners – deserve and need a way to be compensated fairly for medical malpractice injuries. A “one-size fits all” system of justice doesn’t fit our North Carolina values.
Believe that the public should have more information about doctors’ track records on medical malpractice.
